When I moved into the new house, my fiance and I made a pact: to never ever use incandescent light bulbs, and to only use CFL bulbs. Let’s face it – you save so much more money with them! Since we consistently are forgetting to turn off the lights, doing this was truly worth it. My fiance even wrote a post about how green we plan to be!
Our new house was covered in ‘old skool light bulbs’ as I like to call them. They are now sitting in a box in the garage – waiting to be crafted with. Honestly, before I found some of these tutorials, I was just going to throw them out on the curb in a box that said “FREE.” Never mind to that!
