DIY Hand Sanitizer Tutorials

I don’t know how I manage to get sick over 10 times a year, but I do. I even obsessively wash my hands and carry around hand sanitizer! I must have the weakest immune system ever.

If you’re crazy like me and need hand sanitizer constantly, the cost of buying it all the time really adds up. Why not make your own, instead?

And hey – this dude on YouTube says a lot of store-bought hand sanitizers are bad! Hand Sanitizers Cause Hundreds of Child Poisonings: WCVBtv on YouTube

Below, there are so many different ways that you can make hand sanitizer. Honestly, I don’t even know which one I should try or which one will be the most effective. But at least I can research more easily now!

DIY Candle Tutorials

I’ve always wanted to make candles, but I also didn’t want to get screwed on the prices of the various candle kits in craft stores. Luckily, the interweb exists, and tells you basically everything you need to know! So YAY!

Pioneer Thinking has an awesome list of just about everything you can think of when it comes to making candles. Check it out!

Oh yeah – MyCraftBook has a good list as well.

Cajun’s Candle and Soap Making Supplies has step-by-step candle making instructions.

DIY Christmas Wreath Tutorials

These Christmas wreaths RULE! Don’t go out and buy one – they’re ridiculously expensive! You can get the same or a better look just by following these tutorials.

I’m really interested in making an ornament wreath – I’m sure that thrift stores are loaded with old ornaments just waiting to be saved!
