Paper Bags: What Can I Do With Them?

For some reason, I still have hundreds of paper lunch bags from when I used to take my lunch to school. Since I don’t go to school anymore and they’ve just been sitting in my kitchen drawers, why not DO something with them?! YES!!

Not gonna lie – the MAJORITY of these tutorials are for kids.

However, there are a lot of other awesome ones mixed in! I tried to separate the tutorials in a better way so that you could search freely through the post. Enjoi!

Prescription Bottles & Film Canisters: What Can I Do With Them?

I’ve been collecting pill bottles for unknown reasons. I WANT to do something with them, but I just don’t know what. I have beads, but don’t really need containers. hmm… argh.

I also know that there are a lot of crafts that you can do with prescription bottles AND film canisters (since they are basically the same shape and such.)

SO! I looked up pill/prescription/pharmacy/medicine/drug bottle and film canister crafts on Google as well as asking peeps on Twitter and DIYscene, and this is what I’ve found:

  • Jar-o’-Lanterns: Martha Stewart: Although we aren’t using jars, you could still totally use your pill bottles for this! A variation could include adding some kind of material on top for a hat or hair, or even a head on top, as a free-standing figure.

When I figure out what I want to do, I’ll post my results in this post. Woot!

Neckties: What Can I Do With Them?

I have neckties. A lot of neckties. I recently asked the question, “What can I do with neckties?” on twitter and DIYscene, and got a bunch of different responses. I also hardcore looked up tie crafting for a good couple of hours. Here are the results!

For even MORE ideas, type in “necktie” when using the ‘search’ option on CraftStylish.com. Their ideas are ENDLESS!

As I find more sites for tie crafting, I will add them to this specific blog post. No reason to make multiple posts for the same freakin’ topic!

When I do make something with the ties, I will totally add them to this post as well. So check back!
