Old Picture Frames: What Can I Do With Them?

I have TONS of old picture frames – TONS. I am pretty set on making sure my frames in each of my rooms match. A lot of times I just spray paint the old frames so that they are all the same color – so that usually works out! However, I have frames with missing glass, latches, and huge chips. There’s a ton of stuff that you can do with these – which brings me to the purpose of this post!

I don’t have a link to a tutorial because I haven’t made one yet, but it’s pretty straight forward. If you’re looking for a nice/inexpensive holiday decoration or gift, you can always take a gift bag that has a neat design on it (I’m thinking like the scenic ones or interesting geometric patterns, etc) then cut them to fit in a frame. Same goes for old Christmas cards you’ve received…I had a neat winter scene that I hated to throw out, so I framed it, then embellished the frame with beads and ribbon, etc. Use a coordinating ribbon to hang your new decor :)

I have some at home ready to put together – I might make a tutorial for it as I go. I am sure there are some out there, but I haven’t done a search!

I would LOVE to see your tutorial when you get around to writing it! Tutorials take forever to write so I totally understand!

I actually have this Christmas card that looked REALLY nice that I didn’t destroy and had no idea what to do with it. You just gave me a purpose for it! Heck yeah, it’s going in a frame! :)

Thanks for your tip – and I’d love to add your tutorial once you write it! :D
