DIY Knitting Patterns and Tutorials

Knitting is one of the crafts I’ve been meaning to learn forever. Years ago, I received a ‘how to’ knitting book with all the supplies needed for beginners. I must have looked over the book and tried to knit a bunch of different ways for over a week – but just couldn’t get anywhere! I’m thinking about going to a class at Jo-Ann’s – hopefully they can teach me! In the mean time, here are some free patterns and tutorials for those who can knit.

  1. Both the granny square slippers and the rainbow scarves are actually crochet patterns, not knitting.

Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com) is easily the best source for knitting and crocheting patterns, period. They also have a ton of awesome features to help you keep track of projects and yarns!

Thanks! I have no idea about knitting or crocheting – so I will definitely move those two links to my crocheting post. :)
